Natalia Domínguez, 1990, Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz)
Through installation, sculpture and sound, Natalia Domínguez's artistic practice delves into the material and affective relationships of contemporary post-industrial landscapes, unraveling systems of meaning and relational networks between subject and object.
Her projects think of our present as a consequence of a series of oppressive and extractive conditions produced by human action, focusing on the power relations that permeate our bodies, while exploring the nature of those objects whose materials are made to last beyond human existence, making evident how our way of life implies the end of life.
