Costa Paraíso, 2023 Costa Paraíso’s central work is a video piece that borrows the aesthetics of the video-clip to tell a tale of pioneer, radical, and now-derelict leisure architecture that emerged in the Mediterranean Coast in the 1970s. Flamenco and techno come together in a piece that lays on the ruins of a brief instance of freedom and experimentation, that emerged under the cover of an incipient tourism industry that would end up eating itself.
