ARCO Solo Project Madrid 2024
Carles Congost's proposal for the Solo Project at ARCO 2024 is based on a carefully curated selection of new works, most of them previously unseen and/or produced specifically for the occasion, and their subsequent arrangement and organization in the space according to both artistic and conceptual criteria.
For this exhibition, the artist focuses on the search for a challenging yet rhythmic hybridization of languages previously explored in isolation, such as photography, moving images, objects, painting, and drawing. The new works that will comprise the Solo Project installation will place the artist's imagination in a new habitat of great artistic richness, expanding his usual interest in certain aesthetic universes into a territory open to experimentation with new forms and textures.
