Diego del Pozo Barriuso is a renowned artist with a well-established career in both the national and international art scene. His work is part of prestigious collections such as MNCARS Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid; CA2M in Móstoles - Comunidad de Madrid; IVAM in Valencia; MUSAC in León; Centre del Carme - Generalitat de Valencia; CDAN in Huesca; DA2 Domus Artium 2002 in Salamanca; Fundación Martínez Guerricabeitia; Diputación de Huesca; Fundación Díaz Caneja; Junta de Castilla y León; Diputación de Valladolid; and Caja Burgos.
He has participated in exhibitions at prestigious contemporary art galleries, centers, and museums, both nationally and internationally. His solo exhibitions include those held at the X Central American Biennial in San José and Managua (Costa Rica and Nicaragua, 2016-2017); Diputación de Huesca (2012), CAB in Burgos (2011), and more recently at Palacio de la Madraza in Granada (2023) and House of Chappaz gallery in Barcelona (2024). He has also taken part in group exhibitions at Museo Reina Sofía (2021 and 2014), the XIII Havana Biennial (2019), Centre del Carme in Valencia (2018), Centro Cultural Conde Duque (2017), CentroCentro de Cibeles and Matadero in Madrid, Tabakalera in San Sebastián (2016), and MUSAC in León (2014-15), among others. Additionally, he has participated in video programs, film festivals, and other projects such as Festival de Málaga 2023, Documenta Madrid 2023, La Casa Encendida in Madrid, MACBA in Barcelona, Centro Montehermoso in Vitoria/Gasteiz, Nikolaj Kunsthal in Copenhagen, Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, and in Paris at Jeu de Paume, Théâtre du Châtelet, Centre George Pompidou, and Palais de Tokyo, among others.
His videos and films have been featured in numerous film and video festivals and programs, with notable participation in Festival de Málaga 2023, Documenta Madrid 2023, and FONTDOC 2023 in Aosta with the film OÍDO ODIO. His audiovisual works have also been showcased at Videoart Festival, Nikolaj Kunsthal (Copenhagen), Manifesta 10 Parallel Program (Saint Petersburg, Russia), and Rencontres Internationales Paris/Madrid/Berlin (Palais de Tokyo, Paris; Gaité Lyrique, Paris; Museo Reina Sofía, Madrid; Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin; Centre George Pompidou, Paris; Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris; and Jeu de Paume, Paris).
He has received significant grants and production support, including the Leonardo BBVA Grant for Visual Arts and Digital Art in 2019, the Bienal de Mislata Award in 2024, and the Bienal Martínez Guerricabeitia Award in 2016.
